2.1 Membrane lysis mechanism of anticancer peptides
Anti cancer peptides target and kill cancer cells, but do not damage normal cells, mainly because some anions on the surface of the cancer cell membrane (such as phosphatidylserine, sialic ganglioside, etc.) are specifically highly expressed. The mechanism of action of anticancer peptides can be divided into membrane lysis mechanism and non membrane lysis mechanism (Figure 1 and Figure 2). There are three main mechanisms of membrane lysis for anticancer peptides, namely the "barrel plate model", "felt blanket model", and "annular pore model"
