Background Of Peptide Research
Oct 14, 2025
Active peptides were discovered in 1920, but it was not until 1958 that the active peptides studied by American Jewish biochemist Herbert Wayne Boyer at the University of California, USA, were developed using cell recombination technology.
In 1990, Dr. Rudman formally proposed a theory to explain the causes of human diseases and aging, and for the first time applied active peptides to the fields of anti-aging and disease prevention.
